lake with beach; trails around lake; large open field; covered picnic area; volleyball courts
Cons:
fairly popular in the summer


Burke Park
Pros:
trails (great place to run, ride your mountain bike or walk your dog); view of Bozeman
Cons:
not conducive to much else (exclusively a trail park)


Cooper Park
Pros:
lots of trees; some open space (good for frisbee or small team sports); great for picnics
Cons:
not very secluded


Creekside Park
Pros:
Bozeman creek; good reading-a-book environment
Cons:
very small; not very secluded; not great for most activities


East Gallatin Rec Area
Pros:
lake; picnic areas (several covered); play equipment; vollyeball court
Cons:
no large open spaces; not a lot of shade

nice stroll along Sourdough Trail
